A Glimpse Beyond

A Glimpse Beyond

If you have not read A Sister’s Eulogy for Steve Jobs, then stop reading this and go read that.  All the way to the end.

I was surprised by how affected I was by the death of Steve Jobs just as I’m surprised at how this eulogy has haunted and inspired me since I read it several days ago.  I keep thinking about Jobs’ last words, and what he was experiencing with his first glimpse beyond this reality.

Even in the act of dying, he inspired us.

Imagine what it must take to awe Steve Jobs!  Imagine how incredible it would have to be to impress such a visionary genius.  Imagine the greatness of the afterlife, the beauty and love he must have seen in that glimpse.

Imagine what it would take to “Wow” Steve Jobs.

I can’t.  Those final words have left me believing even more strongly in the benevolence and love of source energy, in the possibilities of what we can achieve while we’re here, and in the bliss we will experience when we leave.
